marian medalists
The Marian Medal is awarded to a parishioner age 55 or older who has demonstrated dedicated and faithful service to the Church. Recipients are nominated by their pastor in recognition of their commitment, generosity, and devotion to parish life.
The medals are blessed and presented during a special ceremony of Solemn Daytime Prayer and Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament. Each sterling silver medal is engraved with the Miraculous Medal on one side and the coat of arms of the Diocese of Fall River on the other.
