ADULT FAITH FORMATION
Learning about our faith does not end with the Sacrament of Confirmation, but is a life long endeavor, because it isn't just learning about a particular subject, but about the person of Jesus Christ and growing in our relationship with Him. Throughout the year, a number of different opportunities to grow in our faith will be offered. In particular, mini-series on related topics are offered every Monday at 10AM.
BIBLE STUDY OF THE SUNDAY READINGS: Deacon Paul offers a Bible Study of the Sunday readings at St. Joseph’s Hall on Tuesdays at 9:30am. They study the readings for the coming Sunday. You can participate by way of zoom. Cameras on, and microphone off. No ghost participants. Click here for the zoom link.
COMMENTARY ON THE SUNDAY READINGS: Fr. Fred writes a 4 page commentary on the Sunday readings. They are stored as a PDF in a on-line folder on one-drive.. Click here for the link.
WEDNESDAY NIGHT FAITH SESSIONS: Deacon Paul and the OCIA Teams gathers with those who are being initiated into the Faith on Wednesday nights during Faith Formaton Classes for grades 1-7. These sessions are so designed that anyone who want to deepen their understanding of the faint can join in. These sessions begin in the St. Joseph parish Hall from 6:30 to 8pm.
ADULT FAITH STUDY: Our Adult Faith Formation Study Group meets on Monday mornings from 9:30 to 11:00 AM in St. Joseph’s Hall. Through multimedia presentations, books, and lively group discussions, we explore the richness of our Catholic faith, deepen our understanding of Church teachings, and discover how they apply to our everyday lives. This is more than simply learning about our faith. It's an opportunity to ask questions, share insights, learn from one another, and grow together in our relationship with Jesus. Our goal is to strengthen our faith, put what we learn into practice, and become more faithful disciples of Jesus in our families, our parish, and our daily lives. All are welcome to join us on this journey of faith and discovery!
